We offer a variety of ways to locate information in our system. This supports a variety of search behaviours that make it easy for people to locate the information they need. Ensuring people have the right information is one thing, it’s another entirely to make sure they can find the information in an easy to use way that makes sense to them. We offer a variety of features that make locating information in your employee handbooks or HR manual a breeze for the end user. 

Full Text Search

All documentation within the system is indexed and searchable, this makes it easy for users to type in the subjects they are interested in, and the solution will return (respecting access control) the relevant documentation that matches that search, along with a highlighted extract of that document. 

Filtering and Ordering

All areas of our solution support filtering and ordering of information. Users can order and filter by title, identifier, issue date, revision date, document section, plus more, and any combinations of the above. This allows users to construct filters that translate in English to things like ‘show me all procedures issued in the last three months’, or ‘show me all procedures containing the word “fire” in the title issued in the last 3 months’. 

Favourites & Reading Lists

Users can add documentation to their own favourites collection, allowing them to quickly find documentation they use regularly. This ensures the latest version of a regularly used document is always available within a few clicks/taps of logging into the system.

From a management perspective we offer a reading list feature, you can think of this as management curated favourites that are generated based on an individual’s role in the organisation.

Device Independence

To use the solution users only require access to the internet and a modern web browser, this makes the solution accessible across a wide range of locations and devices. For the end user, most users will need little to no training.

Structure

You define the structure of your manual or handbooks, this structure gives additional context for users, done well it allows users to quickly locate what they need from the specific to the general.
